Wow...it rained here all afternoon yesterday, poured buckets.
Last night we had an out and out thunderstorm, can't remember ever hearing thunder in the middle of winter. I'm almost afraid to look outside when it gets light enough, I imagine everything is a sheet of ice by now.:eek:

Does anyone have any special plans for the weekend?

Take care driving around the city today, Pat.
School buses have all been cancelled pretty well right across southern Ontario. There are a lot of roads to the north of us closed. My basement flooded a bit last night from all the rain, but not too bad. I hope Char's basement is okay. We had a flash freeze and now it's snowing. The wind is really whipping around and causing white outs. I'm glad I can stay home, nice and warm in the house today!

Good morning Pat and Storme!

We had 12 inches of snow yesterday, and now we are in the deep freeze mode! Wind chill factor of 10 below this morning----wind chill factor of 30 below for tonight! BRRRRR. Time to move this sorry butt to Arizona!:p

Pat, be careful drving today! I am going to stay inside where it's warm!

Hello ladies.

It's a beautiful sunny day where I am......80 degrees.

Rick got a call at the airport from Diane informing him his basement is flooded. Sure hope mine is ok.....we'll have to call the guy looking after it tonight.

The roads in the city are fine, so driving is no problem, but it sure is cold.
It's the wind that gets me. When I was sitting at the stop light on my way home a gust of wind came up and rocked the car, it scared the dickens out of me. I'm just glad I was in the car and not trying to walk down the street.

Good Morning Pat, Storme, JudyJ, and Char. Pat, Storme and JudyJ you ladies stay warm and Char you keep the tan going tee hee.... It did rain here last night but it's not as COLD as here you guys are. Just in the mid 60's here. Can you beleive it, it was 90+ last Monday!!!!!!! Char have a great time. Have you sewed anything yet????
