I haven't really been on the boards too much lately,but thought I should drop in to say hello.
How is everything with you? Did you have a chance to take any holidays yet?

My summer has been going pretty crappy.

~I stopped for donuts on sunday, and locked the keys in the car
~My dog has a terrible case of fleas that I can't get rid of.
~My teenage daughter and I are having a ...lets call it a "rough patch" right now.
~My mother-in-law went to the hospital for surgery and what should have been a 5 day hospital stay, but because of complications she was in for 5 weeks.
~~My husband just found out he has type 2 diabetes
~~My Mother passed away.

All in all, not a good year

Almost every day while driving to the hospital to visit my Mom and my M-I-L, I would hear this song on the radio so it has become my official theme song for this year, I think the words are quite fitting...

Things are slowly getting better...
I really miss Mom a lot ,I used her take her for a drive on Sundays and then out to dinner and then after spending so much time with her at the hospital....and now....
Joe works on Sundays so I am left to entertain myself. I go to see my grandkids, I didn't see much of them over the summer.
Kim has 4 boys....
Steven was 7 in June, Mitchel will be 5 in Nov.,Noah turns 3 next week and little Nathan is already 10 months old..crawling around and trying to walk.
Tammy has 1 girl....
Montanah will be 3 in Feb....she is an adorable little munchkin.
These little ones are my greatest joy and I love spending time with them.
I don't see much of Storme because she works nights and when I'm not working she is sleeping or gone to work.
Char and I went to Michigan shopping on Sunday...that was fun and we got some really cute clothes for our dolls because everything was on sale for 1/2 price.
I hope the inventory taking goes well for you. Say hi to your Mom and give her a hug for me for me!!You need to take a vacation...don't want you to burn out.

Well Invernotry is inventory I just don't like to do it.... I know we must do it every year but it just take so long and we don't get much help for anyone else at work.....

Hi Char...how's everything going?
We are very busy at work getting all the halloween stuff bagged up and out for sale. They push the seasons too fast to suit me. Some of the stores are already putting out christmas things...that is still 3 1/2 months away!!!
Today I am going to Noah's 3rd birthday party..hard to believe..they are growing way too fast.
Storme's daughter just informed us that she is expecting her 3rd child in April...Storme must be excited about that,but I haven't see or talked to her lately.
Well I had better go and get ready for party time...talk to you soon...

Thanks for the *hugs* Char.
I've booked myself into the resort where I work for the second week in October. My husband will be up north moose hunting so I am going to stay here, relax, sit in the hot tub, get a massage at the spa, etc. I'm pretty lucky, my boss gave me my room free. It will be nice to get away by myself and just relax.

Hi Pat, well we will finish our inventory this coming week... OH BOY it will be done for another year!! Oh ya Pat they are also putting stuff out here for Christmas too!!! I just can't believe it either... Halloween is not here yet!

Yeah, I guess I'm okay. I think one of the problems is that I haven't let myself have a good :crybaby: . I haven't even read any of the sympathy cards I recieved. I plan to bring them next week, read them and "let it all out" No one will be around to say "what's wrong" and no one will see my red eyes. I guess I have the bad habit of keeping everything bottled up inside. I'm really looking forward to being alone.

I had a great holiday, but not too much time alone - lol - everyone kept dropping in to visit. I am certainly going to do it again.
Pat, Char suggested I get a room some time this winter and have a sisters night. I thought a Jacuzzi suite would be great. The only probelm is, it would have to be a Thursday/ Friday night. I can't ask for a free room and a night off to stay in it. Do you think you could arrange something like that??
