Chatter for the week of June 5th

I blew a major fuse at work last night. All the power is off in the back office. The night security & I looked all over, but we couldn't find the right fuse panel. Thank goodness the main computer has a back up system so it didn't go down. We had to run extension cords into the front office for the printer, etc so I could finish my work.
I have to train a new girl on how to do my job, starting tonight (Monday night) We are a little short on night audit staff so maybe once she is trained I will be able to take the odd day off.
My Mom has been visiting me since Thursday. She goes home today. Pat took her out for the afternoon yesterday so I could get some sleep (Thanks, Pat!)
I don't have anything much planned for the rest of the week...same old, same old.

Now what were you doing last night to blow the fuse???? I'm glad they had backup and extensions so that you could finish up your work. How many night auditors do they have working there besides you?
I think Mom enjoyed her day out. It is sad to see her trying to remember names and things,I hope her memory loss doesn't get worse. She sure perked up when Kim gave her that walker, I hope she will use it and get out for some exercise. I think she will feel more confident using it,because her balance is really not all that good. Maybe if she can start getting up to the restaurant for her coffee and muffin she will feel better.
I don't have much planned for this week...groceries and laundry after work today. I still have some planting to do. I haven't touched my circular flower bed out front.

Hi Ladies, spent the weekend shopping and paying on lay aways. I bought a summer dress to wear as a top with some Capri's for the trip its to short to really wear as a dress. I found a Pink cowboy hat at cracker barrel that I want next payday !!!!!!!! Martha got every thing she need for the trip and Mom got Josh's layaway out. We will probably go shopping tonight for odds and ins. I hope everyone has a good day to.

Well Pat, there are not really any other night auditors right now besides me. The guy that does it the nights I am not here, also works in the accounting department days, so they need someone for him. The guy that trained me is now on security, so we really need extra help. It's hard for me to call in sick or something like that.

Yesterday I got all my planters finished and bought the flowers for out front. I'm way behind,everyone else on the street is finished,but that's ok,I'm doing it a little at a time and when I am done I know it will look really nice.
Storme,I hope the training goes well and the new employee works out.
Aimee,it sounds like you will soon be all ready to go,it's not long now is it? Maybe I should find a pink cowboy hat too. We could both wear one and then we would find each other right away !!! I am so looking forward to meeting you .
Nancy,you could always bring that new " burb' on up to Canada and give it a real test drive...I like camping too!!

I am almost ready! I cant wait 43 more days!!!! I still need some odd and end, but Mom is off for six days this weekend so we will see what we can find. Aubrey is ready and waiting!!!! :D

Nothing much new here. I had to take my m-i-l into the hospital today for a check up on her eyes. There were some terrible accidents in town. I hope it was no one that I know, but I haven't heard yet.
Training is going well. I'm kinda bored because she is doing all the work and I am just supervising.
The weather has been really nice the last few days.
I'm not planting any flowers this year, but I did get some tomatoes and peppers planted and my raspberry bushes are doing great. Actually too great. They won't stay in the garden and are sending shoots up all over the lawn.

I heard about those accidents Storme...hope it wasn't anyone you or Char know.
Today is my day off,but I have laundry to do and then I'll probably try to finish up outside.
Nothing very exciting happening here either just the same old stuff.

Hi all. It's not even midnight yet and I'm on line checking the posts. It really boring just sitting here watching the new girl work and answering the odd question. She has the first part of the job understood pretty well, but the things we do later around 3 am are still confusing for her.
Maybe I'll surf around and try to find some good jokes to post or something entertaining. Have a great day!

The person in the accident that happened at the corner of Vanneck and Egermont I know very well. It was Melissa....Gord's great-neice....Donna's daughter....Jim and Elda's grandaughter.
She was air lifted to the hospital. She was at fault....went through the stop sign. She was listed in critical condition but was moved to a regular room yesterday (Wed). She's doing ok now and should be home in a few days. Broken shoulder, lots of stitches and I'm not sure what else. She has no recollection of the accident at all.

Hi everyone Not much going on here this weekend... Mom and I went to WalMart and I got a few tops. We also went to the 99 cent store and I got the dollys some things....

I have had a stressful week they let the person in Purchasing go last Friday.... Now I have to train someone else and to make matters worst he is going to me my BOSS... Yep I have to train the BOSS!!!!! I tihink I need a raise!!!!!!! We also had some training on some new software for our new computer system... It was for two day and I didn't even get a break!!!! Yep even had to work through lunch.... I don't like the training classed I'm so tired when I get home all I want to do is sleep!!!!!

Well anyway hope everone has a good week ahead

Hi Char2...I'm glad you had a chance to just kick back and relax yesterday.
I had the day off ...I played on the puter,weeded my flower bed and then played on the puter again. All in all it was a nice relaxing day for me too. Now all I have to do is plant my flowers out front and I am finished all my gardening...that is...until the weeds all pop back up again!!! I enjoy gardening, I find it very calming and soothing.
I'm curious though...if you are capable of training your own boss...why aren't you the boss!!!
